The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition is an ideal way to gain valuable exposure for your artwork and exhibit your talent to a wider international audience.

With a distinguished panel of jurors and more than $70,000 in valuable prizes, the 2019 Chelsea International Fine Art Competition is an event not to be missed.

The competition is open to visual artists from around the world at any stage of their careers.

Artists are invited to submit in any of the following mediums

  • Painting
  • Sculpture
  • Photography
  • Drawing
  • Mixed media
  • Print.

Art submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world, ensuring a fair and balanced judgment process.

Eligibility

All visual artists worldwide above the age of 18 are eligible to participate.

Awards

The 2019 competition exhibition is scheduled to take place at the street-level space of Agora Gallery at 530 West 25th Street, Chelsea, NYC, from August 10 to August 20, 2019. Elegant yet welcoming, the street-level gallery spans 4,000 square feet and features 14 to 18 foot ceilings, a skylight viewing area, and wide windows facing the street.

  • Collective Exhibition
    Thirty artists will be selected to exhibit in the collective exhibition, which will take place at Agora Gallery.
  • Cash Prizes
    Five artists will be awarded a cash prize of $1,000 each.
  • ARTisSpectrum Profile
    Three artists will be awarded a one-page review with 3 color images in ARTisSpectrum Magazine.
  • ARTmine Exposure and Personal Artist Statement
    Five artists will be awarded one year of exposure on ARTmine.com which includes assistance by our talented art writers with composing a professional artist statement.
  • Honorable Mention and Complimentary Entry for Next Year’s Competition
    Ten artists will receive an Honorable Mention and a complimentary entry to the 35th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (Feb. 2020).

Entry Fee

  • There is a $45 entry fee for up to 5 images ($5 for each additional image).

*Early Bird Submissions: Submissions received from January 27th to February 4th may include 2 additional images at no additional cost.
