When someone says Abstract Painting, people usually have a pretty good idea what it is. What about Abstract Photography? APA is dedicated to recognizing, showcasing and awarding the best in Abstract Photography. On December 20, 2020, APA will award the year’s Best Abstract Photograph.
What is Abstract Photography?
Abstract Photography is a style of photography that focuses on forms, shapes, lines and colors of the subject in contrast with traditional photography or other styles of photography that mainly focus on subjects as a whole or as truly recognizable subjects. Abstract Photography has a wide reach. It ranges from Nature to Landscape to Seascape to Architecture to Objects to Close-up to Macro to Aerial Photography in both Black-and-white and Color Photography.
APA is open to all photographers worldwide. Photographers must own copyrights to their submitted photos.
