The Luxembourg Art Prize aims to reveal and promote talented artists who have yet to establish a profile on the contemporary international scene. Its function is to discover artists, and it is open to any artist, amateur or professional, with no limits on age, nationality or place of residence. The Prize is aimed at artists working in one or more of the following media: drawing, printing, installation, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, decorative art (textiles and material, glass, wood, metal, ceramics, mosaic, paper or other techniques).

Prize
The winner of the prize receives a stipend of €50’000 (approximately US$54,000 GBP45,000 CHF53,000 CA$76,000 JPY6,000,000) paid into their bank account. The winner is free to use this money in any way he/she sees fit. The finalists for the prize win a group exhibition at The Pinacothèque, a European museum in Luxembourg. The Luxembourg Art Prize is a unique opportunity for you to penetrate the international, professional art circuit and to finally be seen by major private and institutional collectors.

Entry fee
Participation in the Luxembourg Art Prize is contingent upon the payment of a registration fee to be settled online. The amount to pay is displayed in the applicant space and may vary depending on the currency used and the applicant’s country of residence.
