Wedding Party Category
The bride, flower girl and maid of honor are captured in a tender moment right before all three walked down the aisle.
Kubilinskas captured this bridal party photo at the National Gallery of Art. “After spending an hour at the museum, I noticed the creative potential of this escalator,” Kubilinskas says. “I asked all of the bridal party to go on the escalator and look straight into the camera.”
McNulty captured this windy ride as the bride, her mom and sister made their way to the ceremony.

Parker leaned out over a lookout point as this couple floated below in a rowboat they rented for their engagement shoot.
This couple got caught in a storm during their engagement portraits. “The whole landscape was disappearing behind them,” White says. “My lens was getting covered in rain so quickly that I barely had time to focus. But they completely embraced the moment.”
This couple initially booked Monika for a “snuggle session,” a shoot where she photographs them cuddling. Says Monika, “Little did she know that he had a proposal up his sleeve!”
Bride/Groom Portraits Category

A spontaneous portrait captured during an elopement shoot on a 90-degree summer day. “I joked about doing portraits in the nearby river to cool down,” Yanz says. “But to my surprise, they thought it was a great idea.”
