Can you see beauty and wonder in the world of waste?
WasteAid’s photography competition returns for a second year, continuing the theme “The Wonders of Waste”.
This is your chance to showcase your photography skills by capturing the waste world from a different angle, illustrating the value of waste as a resource, or portraying people managing waste or those creating products from recovered materials.
Your entry could capture materials, operations, machinery, interesting products made from waste materials, or the very people working with waste.
Do you have what it takes to see and share the wonders of waste?
When waste isn’t managed properly it causes serious pollution problems, but treated the right way and these materials can be a thing of beauty. We want to celebrate the positives of working with waste, protecting the environment and creating new products instead of pollution.
An exhibition of the winning entries will take place at RWM exhibition, 11-12 September, NEC Birmingham UK.
Winners will be selected through an independent judging process and will be notified by email. The 12 winning photos will feature in the WasteAid calendar for the year 2020, and all winners will receive a free calendar.
The first, second and third entries will also win prizes of £100, £50 and £30 (GBP).
