Welcome to the inaugural TALK Photography Awards, a global photographic competition.
As photography can be such a therapeutic creative medium and Luke & Mandy, the founders of TALK have been in the industry for nearly two decades, it seemed appropriate to spread awareness with this competition.
All proceeds go directly to the charity, to help us continue our work to reduce the stigma of mental health and directly help those in need. Anyone from planet Earth is welcome to enter. We feel very blessed to be sponsored by four of the industry’s top brands – Sony, Rotolight, ZEISS & WEX Photo Video.
Who Can Enter
We welcome all! Amateur, Hobbyist, Professional and Phonetographers!
Theme
The theme is mental health. There are no rules, just create something that depicts what mental health means to you. A few ideas could be:
- Portraiture
- A landscape scene
- A conceptual image
- A documentary image
Please note that you are welcome to enter old images, as well as enter a new creation.
Prizes
The Top 15 entries will be exhibited at Wex Photo Video Manchester throughout april. There will be a private view and presentation where the Top 15 will be presented with a Talk Photography Award.
The overall winner will be announced on the opening night and will receive £4500 worth of prizes, including a brand new-

Entry Fee
- £10 – one image
- £25 – three images
- £50 – eight images
- £100 – twenty images
