The Birth and Beyond Photography Contest is a Dutch based brand international competition in the wonderful and (still) growing field of Birth and Beyond Photography.
A round takes place every two months, in which the best 3 entries of each category are rewarded with an award.
Honorable mentions are given to entries that have just not won, but were nevertheless favored by multiple jury members. In this way we want to encourage you to continue to share your beautiful work. Who knows, you might win next time.
At the end of the year, an overall winner will be selected from all the award winners from the previous rounds.
Photos can be submitted in the following months

Winners will be announced via our social media channels 3 weeks after the closing date.
Categories
- Maternity
Images must contain pregnant women in focus of the photograph. Other people on the photograph are allowed. - Birth
Images captured during labour, giving birth and the first hours after the birth of a baby. - Newborn Posed
Babies (with or without familymembers) between 0-3 months of age, in focus of a styled image. - Newborn Unposed
Babies (with or without familymembers) between 0-3 months of age, in focus of a documentary or/and unstyled setting. - Baby
Babies (with or without familymembers) between 3-12 months of age, in focus of the image. - Kids
For all images containing children, between 1 and 12 years old. Offcourse the photograph may contain other people too, as long as the photograph is about the children. - Family
No age limits. 2 or more familymembers is the minimum.
Prizes
- First place overall awards of each category: €100
- All honorable mentions and winners receive 3 free entrance tickets for the next round.
- All awarded photographs and honorable mentions are published in our winner’s gallery.
- They also receive a digital award badge to use on their photo or for promotional purposes of the result achieved.
- Photographers and their work are promoted across our online platforms.
