The aim of the Nikon Photo Contest is to support the growth of the global community of people who are able to influence others through the common language of photography, irrespective of age or level of photographic experience.
We regard it as a forum where people with a passion for photography can gather to enhance their skills through competition, celebrate the changing times, acknowledge each other’s efforts, find stimulation in different points of view, and help make photography an even more vital part of everyday life.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all, professional and amateur, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
How to Enter
Enter the contest by providing the required information in the entry form on this website. This form will become available on the first date that entries are accepted (Thursday, October 22nd, 2020).
Categories
Photo Competition
i. Open Category
- Theme: “Connect”
- Entry format: Single photo or photo story (two to five images)
- Any equipment can be used
- No age restrictions
ii. Next Generation Category
- Theme: “Passion”
- Entry format: single photo or photo story (two to five images)
- Any equipment can be used
- Entrants must be 25 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2020
Short Film Competition
i. Open Category
- Theme: “Connect”
- Entry format: 180 to 300 seconds long video (MOV or MP4)
- Any equipment can be used
- If any language is used within the video, English language subtitles must be included
- No age restrictions
ii. Next Generation Category
- Theme: “Passion”
- Entry format: 180 to 300 seconds long video (MOV or MP4)
- Any equipment can be used
- If any language is used within the video, English language subtitles must be included
- Entrants must be 25 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2020
